The lovely Nurse Payne calmed the savage, strait-jacketed Brute with "positive associational therapy", using his "lovely one" (the Brute's favourite teddy bear).
KPW Tag Team Champions the Renegades (The Technician and Kade Morgan "3G") looked over the list of KPW tag teams and laughed them off, obviously feeling very confident they could beat any team on the roster. KPW CEO Rip Morgan's right hand man and KPW's "chief whip" Mr Rumble entered and proceeded to burst their bubble, informing them that "Powerhouse" Jade Diamond and Whetu the Maori Warrior had teamed up and planned to challenge for the Renegades' championship belts! This unexpected news wiped the cocky smile from The Technician's face. Before leaving, Mr Rumble delivered his Fire Safety Message, telling the two to sort out two nearby badly overloaded junction boxes.

The Brute was wheeled to the ring secured in a strait-jacket, accompanied by the lovely Nurse Payne and the "lovely one", the only thing that keeps the Brute calm. Despite his crazy appearance, the Brute is an accomplished wrestler and he was set to prove himself in the ring . The crowd wasted no time in booing the savage Brute, letting him know his teeth-gnashing ways didn't impress them at all. By contrast, Whetu the Maori Warrior was cheered wildly from the moment his theme hit. Unimpressed with the Brute's stamping and roaring, Whetu brought the mana to the ring and steeled himself for the match.
Quickly discovering the strength of the Brute firsthand, Whetu changed hears and used his technical ability. Showing the experience of a true second-generation wrestler, the Brute was able to counter with his own wrestling expertise until an opening allowed him to counterattack, forcing the Brute to regroup with his Nurse outside the ring. Back in the ring, the Brute managed to take control, punishing Whetu with big power moves. However, the Maori Warrior hung in there and managed to surprise the Brute with a spectacular aerial manoeuvre, capitalising with a top rope flying head-butt for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Whetu with a top rope flying head-butt for the win by pinfall.

For once true to his word, Terry's new alliance with the Irishman had borne fruit for Mike Ryan in the form of a KPW championship match. The crowd booed Terry and his new client all the way to the ring, but switched to cheering at the appearance of the defending KPW Champion H-Flame. With Terry at ringside firmly on Irishman Mike Ryan's, this match might yet prove to be a case of "two-on-one" for H-Flame.
Showing rare sportsmanship, the Irishman offered a handshake, but H-Flame wasn't fooled. Irishman showed his viciousness right from the start, but a missed kneedrop allowed H-Flame to come back with power moves before the Irishman used his veteran tricks to take control again. It was a battle across the generations, with the young H-Flame battling the On The Mat veteran Mike Ryan for the richest prize in New Zealand wrestling!
True to form, Terry the Golden Greek got involved, wedging his metal briefcase between the turnbuckles so that Irishman Mike Ryan could throw H-Flame into the unforgiving metal. Showing the tactical skills that have helped him throughout his undefeated streak, H-Flame reversed the Irish whip and Mike Ryan careened into the metal briefcase instead! H-Flame then hit a massive standing powerslam on the stunned Irishman for the pinfall victory.
Winner (and still champion): H-Flame with a standing powerslam for the win by pinfall to retain the KPW Championship.
Manager Charlie Roberts and the fiery one Inferno reviewed match footage of H-Flame and were completely unimpressed with what they saw. Inferno voiced his near-crazed determination to capture the KPW championship from H-Flame after chasing the belt for two years.
For KPW's "Off The Ropes", this is Blair "the Flair" saying, "See you at ringside!"
