KPW is pleased to announce that the KPW Champion the Technician is currently scheduled to participate in PWA Queensland's sixth annual wrestling tournament, "Rise of the Warriors", which will be held in May in Australia. KPW interviewer Blair "the Flair" managed to catch up with the Technician following one of his daily training sessions, and found the KPW champion brimming with his characteristic cockiness.

BLAIR "THE FLAIR":  HOW DID YOU COME TO BE INVOLVED IN "RISE OF THE WARRIORS"?

THE TECHNICIAN: As you know, when I was the better half of the Renegades (ex-KPW tag team champions), myself and my ex-tag team partner (Kade Morgan "3G") wrestled in Australia for PWA Queensland.  And to put it simply, we got scouted.  The booker there noticed how good I am and couldn't wait to get me back there, knowing it'd mean big crowds.  And you know me, Blair 'The Flair'... I never miss a chance to show the people the best wrestling they've ever seen.  It would be a crime to not showcase my skills!  A crime!

BtF:  CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT "RISE OF THE WARRIORS"?

T:  It's a two-night, four block, sixteen man tournament where the best of the best from around Australasia battle to be crowned the 'King of Queensland'.  'The best of the best' ... sounds like me, don't you think?  To anybody else, winning a sixteen man tournament means insurmountable odds.  To me, it's just another training session!

BtF: WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE OPPOSITION ?

T:  Nothing!  But I don't need to.  It's the sixth time PWA Queensland has held the tournament, it'll be my first time participating... and it'll be the first time my opponents will have faced ME!  Marcus Kool might be there, but I don't care about him.  Jade Diamond (KPW alumni and long-time foe of the Technician) will be there, I think.  And there's a chance that Slade Mercer (the man who was Max Damage, ex-KPW champion and another foe of the Technician) will be there, as well.  It might be like old times... me beating them again!

BtF: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE OPPOSITION ?

T:  I don't! Marcus Kool... pah!  English sensation?  Thrill-seeker?  International experience?  Eight year pro?  All-around high-flyer and technical expert?  Brother, please!  I'M THE TECHNICIAN. I've got so many ways to beat people I've forgotten most of them and I'm STILL the best wrestler you've ever seen!  I look forward to beating him, showing the Australian fans who the better wrestler is.  Jade Diamond?  Hah!  Million dollar body and a ten cent brain!  Beaten him many times before.  He's not a problem.  Slade Mercer?  C'mon, Blair 'the Flair'!  I've beaten him before, too! For the KPW Championship!  You were there!

BtF: WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU CAN BRING TO "RISE OF THE WARRIORS"?

T:  Simple... talent.  Charisma.  Mat wrestling ability.  Size.  Strength.  <wbr></wbr>Technical know-how.  Nobody in New Zealand OR Australia is a better mat wrestler than me!  I'm gonna go over there and win. THAT's what I'm gonna bring to "Rise of the

Warriors" - victory!  And if any of my opponents are reading this... be afraid.  Be very afraid!
