Kiwi Pro Wrestling hits Queenstown

Pro Wrestling hits Queenstown Winterfestival at Thriller in the Chiller!

Thriller in the ChillerQueenstown Local and KPW Wrestler Marcus Kool will go one on one with former KPW Heavyweight Champion Max Damage in what will be a true battle of David VS Goliath. With Max standing at 6'6, weighing in at 119kgs and Kool being 5'10 weighing 77kg!

Underdog Marcus Kool will be in for the fight of his life, but is excited about representing Queesntown in there annual Thriller in the Chiller charity boxing event. But this wont be a boxing match, it will be a special attraction the likes of Queenstown hasnt quite seen before. KPW are proud to bring Pro Wrestling to the town and are hoping it will be a hit for the locals and tourists that will gather in their thousands to see the event.

Last year the Thriller in the Chiller gathered a crowd of 1400 fans, with it being nationally and internationally noted in the media as a huge success. The event pits local residents putting aside their day jobs and putting on the boxing gloves to fight friendly rivals in the area.

Marcus moved to Queenstown a few years ago to seek the adrenaline lifestyle it brings but says nothing beats the rush of a crowd and being in the ring. Max Damage, now residing in Brisbane is hoping to embarass Kool in front of his home crowd, since moving away from New Zealand, Max has grew a bigger and bigger ego, he believes he is now above New Zealand and its people. However it should be noted Max has been apart of numerous WWE tryouts, so he has got international exposure to back up his words. Will Max stay true to his moniker and cause Damage to Kool? Or will Kool finally shut him up and put him in his place with a Superkick? We shall find out at Thriller in the Chiller!
