Wanganui hold some great memories and some terrible memories for the fiery one.
March 2009 I engaged in a no disqualification battle with then champion, the hometown hero, H-Flame. After a brutal match It was help from another Wanganui local Chris Delorean attacking me that made that attempt at capturing the belt unsuccessful. Not that that was irrelevant months later when I became the first man to defeat H-Flame for the KPW New Zealand championship, and then on a later episode destroy Delorean in a title defence on mainstream nationwide television, the grandest stage New Zealand wrestling has ever achieved.
May 2010 I returned to Wanagnui having been defeated by Max Damage and had one thing on my mind, putting that face painted freak in hospital. Early in the card I destroyed Dane King in minutes and after Damage defended the title in front of a packed Wanganui Memorial Hall in the main event I went out to embarrass the 'crowd favourite'. Ready to sheer the spastic behemoth of his disgusting oily locks I was super kicked by Jonnie Juice who then hacked away the flaming hair of the greatest wrestler to ever step foot in a KPW ring.
Now I avenged this loss by going on to end Jonnie Juices entire career at Make or Break but there is one grudge I have held throughout my experiences in the river city and that is against the people of Wanganui! As I lay their unable to move in the centre of the ring I had my hair butchered right in front of you. As I regained consciousness I saw people laughing, children running to the ring taking lumps of my hair as some kind of souvenir or trophy! You people disgust me!
So, this may be a good enough reason to step out of isolation and confront you Wanganui. Someone needs to step up and tell you how it really is. And damn it the fiery one will be that person!
You've started a fire you can't put out.
