Talent Application

Kiwi Pro Wrestling has an experienced roster of talented wrestlers. While at this stage KPW is not actively seeking new talent, we do welcome enquiries from appropriately qualified people, both male and female.

To enquire about joining the Off the Ropes team as a wrestler, we have a minimum expectation that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • you have been involved in wrestling and have received professional wrestling training for at least 18 months
  • you have wrestled as a professional wrestler in front of a paying live audience
  • you have experience of being filmed out of ring scenes and promos and/or have worked on televised shows
  • you are fit, healthy and have been cleared to wrestle by a certified medical practitioner.

If you meet these criteria please contact KPW with the following:

  • Several professionally shot stills photographs of you posing
  • a full curriculum vitae including the schools, shows and federations with which you have been involved
  • good quality video footage of your work, including promos and/or backstage scenes (on DVD, in AVI or Quicktime format)

Note that these materials will not be returned.  KPW will treat your application confidentially.

Kiwi Pro Wrestling will contact successful applicants to discuss the possibility of becoming part of the KPW team.

"Divas"

KPW welcomes applications from females over the age of 18 who are interested in finding out about becoming involved in pro wrestling.

Note that you don't have to be a wrestler to get involved.  There are roles available as a valet or as a manager.  Applications can be made at the "Application address" below.

Applications for to be a Diva wrestler are also welcome.

Inexperienced wrestlers

Kiwi Pro Wrestling does not encourage or condone inexperienced wrestlers undertaking this type of work. If you intend to become a wrestler please find out about professional wrestler training schools. Kiwi Pro Wrestling runs schools in Wellington, Tauranga and Queenstown -Pro Wrestling School NZ. Kiwi Pro Wrestling will not consider applications from untrained workers or wrestlers under 18 years of age.
