KPW fans will already be familiar Jade Diamond - he's a familiar face to KPW fans.  Early in his KPW tenure, he formed a mighty tag team with Whetu, the Maori Warrior.  Together, the mighty team were perennial challengers for the KPW Tag Team Championship.  While repeatedly thrilling the crowds of fans with his power and agility, he and Whetu were unfortunately undone by the expert cheating of the defending champions, The Renegades.  Eventually, having learned all he could in New Zealand, Diamond relocated to Brisbane in Queensland.

In Australia, Diamond took advantage of the opportunities available to compete, wrestling for Global Wrestling Entertainment, Pro Wrestling Alliance Queensland, Australian Wrestling Alliance and Pacific Pro Wrestling.  There, the "Powerhouse" was able to capture multiple championships, including the following:  the PWAQ Queensland Tag Team co-championship, Global Wrestling Entertainment Heavyweight Championship, the Australian Wrestling Alliance Heavyweight Championship, the Australian Wrestling Alliance Tag Team co-championship and the Pacific Pro Wrestling Tag Team co-championship.

Lance Storm is a name known to any wrestling fan - Extreme Championship Wrestling tag team champion with the late Chris Candido and ECW Tripe Threat prospect;  first holder of World Championship Wrestling's Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title, Canadian Heavyweight Championship, the 100KG-and-Under Championship and the brains behind WCW's Team Canada; mainstay of WWE's Unamericans; and many more achievements).

In addition to the three months of expert tutelage, Jade Diamond will also be able to wrestle on local Canadian shows, thereby furthering his already significant international wrestling experience.

Diamond is one of the wrestlers who was able to utilise KPW's business contacts with World Wrestling Entertainment in order to gain a tryout (essentially, an audition before the talent acquisition personnel of the world's foremost professional wrestling company).  This tryout took place in Melbourne on 06-07 August 2014.  The feedback that Jade Diamond garnered from the tryout was that although his physique, agility, moveset and fitness were good, he would benefit from more time in the ring. Never to do things by halves, Diamond chose to embark upon this latest stage of his pro wrestling career in the "frozen north".

KPW wishes Jade Diamond all the best for his training in Canada, and will endeavour to keep fans appraised of his progress and experiences.
